13th July 2026: Demonstration 7-9pm, Nicky Hunter, Flamboyant Watercolour Florals

Nicky Hunter is a professional watercolour artist based in Buckinghamshire. Her creative foundation was built initially gaining an art & design Diploma at Telford College, followed by studying at De Montfort University, where she earned a degree in Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. This education launched an illustrious twenty-year career that took her across India, China, and Europe in search of the luxurious silks and evocative fabrics that inspired her work.

Nicky specialises in flamboyant floral paintings with are based on realism with a hint of romance!

This event is free to members but if you would like to come see the presentation and try us out, you can for just £5 entry fee on the night – so why not come and find out and get involved.


10th August 2026 – Demonstration 7-9pm, Richard Crabtree, Birds & Wildlife Pen & Wash
Richard started in graphic design before becoming a full time artist and teacher. He works in many media but is going to demonstrate pen and wash techniques for birds and wildlife for us.  More information about Richard and his art can be found with the following link.

28th August 2026 – Art Exhibition Set Up & Preview Night
Volunteers required for set up, exhibition set up in the morning, paintings hung in the afternoon. Paintings to be submitted 2pm to 4pm. Cheese and Wine Preview Event 7-9pm.

29/30th August 2026 – Art Exhibition & Sale
The Society Annual Art Exhibition, 10am – 4pm, HDSA Café, Fragmented picture unveiling
