2024, May, Arts & Craft Fair!
Lots of people attended, we had brilliant support for the HDSA Cafe from a small number of our members, who worked really hard on the day to make the HDSA Cafe very successful – we are so grateful for your support! Thank you to everyone who made cakes for the Cafe.
Our stallholders once again produced a fantastic display of their artistic and crafting talents, thank you for committing to putting on a stall for us – the event would not work without you!.
With the HDSA Cafe and Raffle, we raised almost £500 towards Society to put towards future events.
I would like to thank again those who helped with the painting of the Exhibition Boards, they looked lovely and made the room much brighter, we will be reviewing how we display entries for the Summer Exhibition to raise our game for our 50th Year!
There was also the GOLD competition
We had 28 Entries in the final count for the Gold Competition and what a variety of entries – so well done to all the members who entered, the Society works best when people join in, the Committee were so please people got behind this Competition – so thanks very much.
The display looked fantastic and we had lots of compliments and lots of votes. The winner was Sue Crockett with Faerie Gold, Second Place was Kate Webb with Sunnyside Up and Third Place was Lisa Edwards with Precious Pollenator.
